Route 1: Tomülpass
Valserhof - Pradätsch - Alp Tomül (excellent yoghurt!) - Valserhof
Alternatives from Alp Tomül: to Safien Valley via Tomülpass, back by bus/train, up to Bärenlücke on Tomülhorn or from Pradätsch to Vals's local mountain: Höreli (breathtaking views over Vals)
Route 2: Goat Alp in the Peil Valley
Valserhof - Peterskapellchen - Abersch Hus - Uf der Matta - Tschifera - Kiosk Peil (excellent fresh goat cheese!) – Goat Alp.
(Especially worthwhile for guests who have sponsored a goat through COOP) www.kioskpeil.ch and www.geissalp-peil.ch
Recommended: via Hofli - back through Bodahus – Valserhof
Further/long hikes from Peil: Valserberg, Hinterrhein
Route 3: Vier-Seen Tour
Valserhof - Lake Selva - Lake Amperfreila - Lake Guraletsch - Lake Zerfreila (dam wall!)
Back by bus or scooter (Zerfreila inn)
Route 4: Gorge Trail
Valserhof - Polenhütte - Old Zerfreila Trail - through the Valser Rhine Gorge - Ronasteg - Wali - Leis - Valserhof
